Bio
She is an Assistant Director of Life Design Lab · The Johns Hopkins University. Health Educator experienced in working with the research and education industry. Loves to work with nonprofit organizations, charities, and intercultural relations to improve living conditions within the communities. Skilled in project management, program logistics, curriculum mapping, community health, and instructional design. Background in research, education and evaluation with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Puerto Rico (UPR), Rio Piedras Campus and a master's degree in Public Health Education from the UPR, Medical Sciences Campus.
Amailie is a proud Puerto Rican woman who is passionate about people and communities and committed to support programmatic decisions through informed resources, arts, and care. Previously, she worked with developing and managing educational efforts on research-based projects on pregnant women's chemical exposures (funded by NIEHS, NIH) and community health promoters (funded by CDC and Medtronic Foundation) on her island. Currently, Amailie is acquiring a Doctor of Public Health degree at Walden University and an executive certificate in Organizational Leadership at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
